DESCARTES REN. RESULTS OF RESEARCHES

In section ' Dioptrics ' results of researches of Descartes and its operating time necessary for formation of so important science, as optics are stated. So, irrespective of V.Snelliusa Descartes has opened the law of refraction of a light beam on border of two various environments. The formulation of this law has allowed to improve optical devices which played a huge role in astronomy and navigation, and soon began to be applied actively and in microscopy.

In the head ' Meteors ' Descartes has considered the metrological phenomena, and in IV part ' Reasonings on a method … ' has stated bases of the metaphysics (certainly, in its traditional aristotelevskom sense - as doctrines about the most general principles of life and knowledge). Their profound treatment it has given in the special composition ' Reflection about the first philosophy ' (as Aristotle called metaphysics), written on Latin language and published in Paris in 1641

The Second edition of this work left in Amsterdam in 1642, and a French translation published in Paris in 1647, was called ' Metaphysical reflexions '. In this edition seven have been enclosed to the basic text ' Objections ' on it (them Mersenn which have dispatched the manuscript to various philosophers) and ' Answers ' of Descartes on objections has collected. Thus, the provident author has reserved last word in dispute.

Descartes's Philosophy has got into many universities of Europe and among their professors there were its convinced and vigorous followers. In due course all set of sights of the philosopher has turned to the whole direction in a science - kartezianstvo (from Kartezija - latinizirovannogo Descartes's name).
